The Beginning

My relationship with interior design began long before AGN Home existed.

When I was around eight years old, my father purchased a fixer‑upper in upstate New York, and much of my childhood unfolded inside renovation projects. I learned how to use a nail gun, patch walls, pour concrete, and build decks — not as a novelty, but as part of everyday life. Weekends were spent selecting paint colors and materials at Home Depot, working on projects that ranged from dollhouses and shelves to patios and basements.

Those early experiences shaped the way I see spaces today. I became fascinated not only with how rooms look, but with how they are constructed, how materials interact, and how thoughtful design can create a sense of calm, balance, and ease.

An early obsession with HGTV, renovation shows, and DIY creators only deepened that interest. Fortunately, it’s one that has followed me into adulthood.
